About
Emery Katarina Wuulfsun is a self-taught nature photographer devoted to honest, unobtrusive storytelling, creating wildlife and landscape images that honor animal welfare, wild habitats, and natural light while inviting viewers into quiet, reflective moments outdoors.
Wuulfscape is the personal vision of nature photographer Emery Katarina Wuulfsun, celebrating untamed light, fleeting wildlife encounters, and quiet landscapes that invite you to slow down and really look. Emery identifies as a queer non-binary person who currently lives in the United States.
Emery also writes novels and poetry anthologies under the pen name Katarina Wuulfsun. Their writing typically features queer romance, fantasy, horror, and dark poetry. Their dark poetry aims to show others that they aren’t alone in dealing with mental health. The poems have a cynical tone; however, their novels are all happy-ever–afters.
Their writing can be found on Amazon as well as their website: http://www.katarinawuulfsun.com
Common question: If Emery is non-binary, why do they write under a “feminine” name?
Answer: Emery began their author journey before they came out as non-binary. Having already published several books under the pen name Katarina, they decided it was easier to keep publishing under the same name. If Emery is ever encountered in the wild, please address them as Emery or Wuulfsun instead of Katarina. However, they will respond to either name regardless. Their pronouns are they/them.
